스튜디오 소개 / Studio Introduction
라지미디엄스몰은 노미지, 배병선, 정유정 세 명의 크리에이티브가 다양한 산업디자인 분야에서의 경험을 모아 2023년 설립한 디자인 컬렉티브로, 서울의 을지로 4가에 둥지를 틀고 활동하고 있습니다.
거점으로 삼은 지역의 토착 재료가 지닌 기능성과 아름다움을 분석하고, 이를 정제된 조형과 토속적인 질감으로 풀어내는 장치로서의 디자인을 선보입니다.
더 나아가, 재료 본연의 물성과 현대의 생산 및 제조 공정기법을 유기적으로 연결함으로써 지속 가능한 쓸모를 지닌 구체적인 사물과 공간을 구현하고, 이러한 실천을 산업디자인, 아트디렉션, 씨노그래피와 다양한 전시 작업을 통해 이어가고 있습니다.
Large-Medium-Small is a design collective founded in 2023 by Miji Noh, Byongseon Bae and Youjung Jeong. Based in the heart of Euljiro 4-ga, Seoul, the studio works across industrial design, art direction, scenography and exhibition practice.
Its practice distills the functional intelligence and aesthetic qualities of local materials into refined forms and vernacular textures. Objects, spaces and exhibitions function as mediums through which local material cultures are brought into dialogue with contemporary manufacturing systems.
